Police confirm to have found the body of a 6-year-old girl who was reported missing on 06 December 2023 wrapped in a plastic and hidden under the bed in a home of a said perpetrator.

The South African police service said the 6-year-old girl was reported missing on 07 December 2023 in NU 13 Inyibaba near Mdantsane.

The community is said to have conducted an intensive search for the child and to have received a tip-off of the whereabouts of the child, then a search was conducted at the alleged perpetrator’s house after the search the body of the child was found, it is alleged that the community took matters into their own hands and police were called to the scene where they found a badly injured man who was also naked, the police confirm that the alleged suspect later succumbed to his injuries.

The police suspect that the child has been raped however this can only be confirmed in post-mortem.

The police confirm that 2 cases of murder have been opened (The child and alleged perpetrator)

  Why are the 443 children being trafficked into South Africa? On the 2 ND of December 2023 at the Beit bridge border, the border patrol guards along with SAPS on a sting operation stopped 42 buses trying to enter South Africa with about 443 children under the age of 8 years with no adult supervision, it is believed that the children were being trafficked into the country. The body of 16-year-old Macheka has been found in Phase 9 Bloemfontein.

  The body of Macheka Radebe has been found by a morning passer-by on the 4 th of December 2023 after she had been reported missing from her home in Rocklands Bloemfontein since 2 December 2023. The Bloemspruit police said to have arrived at the crime scene in the early hours and found a female body with a stab wound in a field in Phase 9. Macheka was allegedly kidnapped on 2 December 2023, her brother stated that the kidnapping took place at about 12H00, the brother stated that at about 12H45 he woke and found Macheka’s room empty. The brother also stated that he then called her phone and was answered by an unknown male who demanded ransom. The Police are appeal to the Public with regards to any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators involved.
