Suspects behind multiple cash in transit fatally shot in Camperdown Kwazulu-Natal

Four suspects were involved in a shoot out with the police in the early hours of Thursday 16 May 2024. It is believed that the suspects are possibly involved in a string of cash in transit robberies.

The police along with the Hawks gathered intelligence regarding the whereabouts of the suspects the police said that upon arrival at the said hideout location,the suspects shot at the police of which the police returned fire. The four suspect sustained fatal gunshot wounds.




Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi said that they are other suspects that are part of cash in transit group and the police are still hunting them down.

In another incident that took place in Klaarwater hostel in Marinhill the two suspects shootout at the police of which the police returned fire and the two suspect where fatally wounded. It is said that the said suspects where sought for intimidation and extortion.

  Why are the 443 children being trafficked into South Africa? On the 2 ND of December 2023 at the Beit bridge border, the border patrol guards along with SAPS on a sting operation stopped 42 buses trying to enter South Africa with about 443 children under the age of 8 years with no adult supervision, it is believed that the children were being trafficked into the country. The body of 16-year-old Macheka has been found in Phase 9 Bloemfontein.

  The body of Macheka Radebe has been found by a morning passer-by on the 4 th of December 2023 after she had been reported missing from her home in Rocklands Bloemfontein since 2 December 2023. The Bloemspruit police said to have arrived at the crime scene in the early hours and found a female body with a stab wound in a field in Phase 9. Macheka was allegedly kidnapped on 2 December 2023, her brother stated that the kidnapping took place at about 12H00, the brother stated that at about 12H45 he woke and found Macheka’s room empty. The brother also stated that he then called her phone and was answered by an unknown male who demanded ransom. The Police are appeal to the Public with regards to any information that may lead to the arrest of the perpetrators involved.
